This year’s news from the oldest of Geneva’s watchmakers with uninterrupted production building on the brand’s tradition and heritage. The restrained elegance of the Malte lines contrasts with the richly decorated Métiers d’Art, which shows the manufacture’s unique expertise in manual decoration. New for the ladies is an impressive combination of 18 carat white gold on a case hemmed with 50 diamonds, and an absolutely pure silver dial, which is decorated only with the Roman numeral VI and XII and slender indices made of white gold. Since 2006 Vacheron Constantin has been paying tribute to platinum through the limited edition Collection Excellence Platine. A new crown jewel for this collection is fifty pieces of the platinum version of the Malte tourbillon, which was presented two years ago in pink gold.
